Company history
Mike retired from Duke Energy after 37 years in Construction, Transportation, Supply and Maintenance. He accepted early retirement from his managerial role to start Quality Transport and Safety Consulting, LLC. The last team Mike led, while working for Duke, accomplished 14 years without an injury or accident. Safety consulting is also part of our service. He enjoys helping others avoid injuries and work accident free. His experience in the transportation part of the company gave him the yearning to see more of the country and begin this transporting business.  Additionally, Mike recently retired as a volunteer with the Mooresville Fire Department. He served as a volunteer fire fighter or rescuer for the last 38 years. Believe it or not, He also retired as a Captain after 20 years of serving his country in the National Guard back in 1990. It's kind of hard to believe but he had three carreers going at the same time. God, his family and this business are now his focus.
